I'll be on a temporary hiatus of sorts. I may have mentioned it in an earlier blog post, but during those dates I'll be in this course called Focus For Change.
Basically it's this 15 week long course for women 18+ to help them with their school and career goals. We have Math and English lessons (and computer, although I don't really need those) and counselling sessions every few days. It's from 9 AM to 2 PM every week day.
So, unless I get some down time during the weekends I probably won't be writing much until the end of April. After which I'll be getting a job and will be busy with that.
I know only like two people read my stories and blog, but I don't want to feel like I'm letting anyone down.

Happy (belated) birthday Jesus!
And a Merry Christmas (or whatever you do or don't celebrate) to everyone else on earth.
My holiday was pretty fab. I'm glad it's over though. No more stressing about how I'm going to afford gifts and bills in the same month. I'm very glad it's only once a year.
Now just 9 more days until I turn into an old lady. Don't know what I'm going to do yet. I've got Spawn on the weekend after my birthday so I'll have to celebrate either this weekend in conjunction with New Years (if I actually go out) or I'll have to wait until the weekend after.
Only thing I know is my mom is taking me out to dinner the second weekend in January. Sweet. I just need to think of a place to go.
I kind of got set up with someone. A good friend of mine gave my number to a friend of hers. Then she talked to me a few days later and "warned" me that he might be calling. Apparently he's shy so she also gave me his number and told me to call him, haha. So I did and he seems nice. Soooo, yeah. It's kind of exciting.
I was going to get into a whole "2011 has been such-and-such kind of year" but I'll save that blog for later.
